Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnifiers or voice control.
Our standard
This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Where we can, we also meet level AAA.
What we have done
- Every page has the same menu, in the same place and order.
- You can use the whole site with a keyboard. The item in focus always has a clear outline.
- Text has a contrast ratio of at least 7 to 1 against its background.
- You can zoom to 400% without losing content.
- We do not use video, sound that plays by itself, or images of text.
- We do not use moving content. If your device asks for reduced motion, we respect it.
- Every form field has a label and help text. Errors are described in words and linked to the field.
- We write in plain language and put a short summary at the top of each news article.
- Every page has a “Display options” button at the top. Use it to make text larger or to switch to high contrast.
How to adjust this site
